Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in underground utility/construction.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and shop drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of underground utility construction per plans.
• Verify excavation, trenching, pipe installation, bedding and backfill.
• Confirm locations, elevations, grades, and alignments.
• Inspect manholes, vaults, basins, valves and related components.
• Coordinate and witness testing (compaction, leakage, concrete).
• Document quality issues and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection reports and test records.
• Coordinate with project teams and inspectors; assist closeout.
