Fleetzero in Georgia is looking for a dedicated manufacturing engineer who will own the quality and engineering process for battery module assembly. This hands-on role involves developing processes, writing instructions, and ensuring quality throughout production.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments and demonstrate a proactive approach to quality assurance and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, assembling processes, and implementing inspection criteria.
Build the processes, tooling, and quality infrastructure that takes Fleetzero hardware from bench builds to production-ready assembly lines.
You will own the intersection of quality and manufacturing engineering for battery module and BMS assembly. That means developing and qualifying assembly processes, writing work instructions and inspection criteria, and driving continuous improvement across the line. You will define what 'good' looks like for every assembly step — from incoming piece part inspection through end-of-line functional test.
This is a hands‑on role. You will be on the floor developing tooling, troubleshooting process escapes, and running experiments alongside the assembly team. The right person has a bias for building systems that make quality repeatable and visible, and does not wait to be told what to inspect.
