Qualifications

• 5+ years’ QA experience, prefer those with people management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or related field.
• Strong communication and attention to detail; able to mentor a team.
• Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and batch records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA activities in manufacturing and packaging areas.
• Supervise shift QA Technicians; monitor in-process sampling and documentation.
• Investigate deviations and write investigation reports, routing through QA management.
• Schedule QA staff and approve overtime when needed.
• Recommend SOP updates and identify daily process efficiencies.
• Ensure GMP compliance, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Oversee sampling of materials and product labeling; approve lines.
• Manage material status from quarantine to release/reject.
• Monitor equipment and rooms for cleanliness prior to operation.
• Guide QA team on AQL inspections against quality attributes.
• Maintain samples and retains for accountability and retrieval.
• Utilize QAMS, SABA LMS, and SAP for tracking and training.
