Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality program across manufacturing and aerospace operations in Freeport, IL. You will drive the QMS development, audits, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration across engineering, production, and supply chain, and a strong track record in ISO 9001 and aerospace quality practices.

Qualifications

• ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance experience
• Lead auditor certification preferred
• Strong Six Sigma knowledge and tools
• Experience with audits (internal, supplier, customer)
• Proficient with SPC, FMEA, and quality data analysis
• Experienced in cross-functional collaboration and leadership

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS aligned with ISO 9001.
• Lead internal and external audits; manage CAPA plans and effectiveness.
• Manage nonconformance, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement and defect reduction using Six Sigma/Lean.
• Oversee QA activities across manufacturing and aerospace operations; ensure traceability.
• Develop and monitor quality metrics; report to senior management; recommend actions.
• Provide leadership and training to QA team; ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and logistics for manufacturability and quality.
• Manage relationships with customers and regulators regarding quality matters.
