Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing Southwest is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. The QA Manager has authority for developing, implementing, and improving the laboratory Quality System that meets the QMP, trains personnel, maintains the QAM, and manages proficiency testing.

The role requires BS/BA in Chemistry/Sciences, 5+ years of bench analytical experience plus QA training, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Experience building and maintaining quality systems and SOPs.
Familiar with QA regulations and regulatory audits.
Strong analytical techniques and laboratory methods.
Experience conducting internal/external QA audits.
Proficient in documentation and record-keeping.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.

Responsibilities

Review QMP and ensure compliance with Quality System.
Develop and implement the QAM.
Participate as a member of the laboratory’s senior management team.
Act as QA representative in client meetings, regulatory meetings, and forums discussing regulation changes.
Act as a technical resource and final authority in data quality.
Conduct and/or oversee QA training courses and ethics training as needed.
Perform system audits of departments, write audit reports, and approve responses.
Perform data audits and respond to audits and inquiries.
Conduct external audits and assist in management reviews of the Quality System.
Generate and submit monthly QA reports and monitor training records.
