Job summary

CA CI International Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Arlington, VA to lead QA across Agile software projects for a federal customer. The role focuses on establishing quality standards, driving testing strategies, and implementing automated gates within DevSecOps pipelines.

You will oversee test planning, IV&V, and UAT, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, maintainable, and testable software while complying with NIST, OWASP, and Section 508 requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience leading software quality assurance in Agile environments.
• Experience with SDLC, DevSecOps, and software testing practices.
• Experience implementing automated testing and tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, CAST, Azure DevOps, Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities across Agile software development projects.
• Establish and maintain quality standards throughout the SDLC.
• Ensure compliance with federal standards including NIST and OWASP.
• Develop QA strategies for automated and manual testing, IV&V, and UAT.
• Define and monitor automated quality gates and report metrics to leadership.
