Redwire Space in Marlborough, MA is seeking a QA Manager for Hardware Manufacturing to lead a small QA team and drive quality engineering activities on the shop floor. The role blends hands-on quality work with managerial duties to ensure product integrity and process excellence.

You will manage audits, customer interfaces, and continuous improvement initiatives across aerospace manufacturing, adhering to AS9100 and ISO9001 standards.

Responsabilités

• Serve as QA representative in customer reviews and program milestones (CDR, MRR, TRR, PSR).
• Oversee review of customer proposals, contracts, and compliance matrices; produce SDRL/CDRL documents as needed.
• Own the quality management system; drive continual improvement and audit readiness (AS9100).
• Collaborate with GIDEP and engineering teams to analyze usage data and impact on products.
• Lead internal audits as the AS9100 Management Representative and support registrar audits.
• Develop and approve methods/procedures for fabrication, inspection, and testing of aerospace products.
• Analyze inspection data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Drive non-conformance investigations and ensure detailed, actionable reports.
• Coordinate with Project Management to communicate failures, non-conformances, and waivers to customers.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Support quality metrics, cause/effect analysis, and supplier quality requirements.
• Support purchasing to ensure proper quality requirements are flowed down.
• As Facility Safety Officer, guide safety audits with EH&S and management.
