Job summary

Kelly is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager for a high-stakes foundry environment where reliability, safety, and strict documentation matter. You will oversee the quality management system to ensure cast components meet customer, military, nuclear, and regulatory requirements.

You will lead a quality team across manufacturing, engineering, and customer-facing functions, driving continuous improvement and ensuring product traceability and compliant processes in a highly scrutinized setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• ISO certification experience and Level III NDE qualification.
• 5–10 years of relevant foundry or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of metallurgy, alloy behavior, casting defects, material certification, and NDE methods.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Experience preparing or reviewing quality plans, inspection and test plans, and NDE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain quality processes and procedures supporting ISO, NAVSEA, ASME, and NQA-1 requirements.
• Monitor quality systems and foundry processes, including heat treatment and NDE.
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits; manage corrective and preventive actions.
• Review contracts and purchase orders for high-spec customers.
• Coordinate with leaders to resolve quality and production issues and communicate improvements.
• Oversee quality assurance engineers, technicians, and NDE personnel; coach the team.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, inspectors, and certifying bodies.
• Maintain documentation and product traceability.
• Promote safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
