Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a QA Engineer to lead quality assurance for HR and Payroll solutions. You’ll review requirements, design test cases, and drive end-to-end testing across cloud platforms and custom web apps.

You will validate backend data with SQL/PL-SQL against Oracle, ensure HR workflows are correct, and collaborate across HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams. The role emphasizes automation, process improvement, and data security, with a hybrid Bengaluru-based arrangement.

Qualifications

• Six years of quality assurance experience for HR and Payroll solutions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a STEM field; advanced degree considered.
• Strong HR/Payroll domain knowledge (hiring, promotions, leaves, time off, benefits).
• Experience testing cloud-based HR/Payroll platforms or custom HR/payroll web apps.
• Familiarity with ADP Enterprise, Workday, .NET/VB.NET.
• SDLC knowledge across requirements to post-implementation validation.
• Proficiency with Jira; QA tools such as Quality Center and Selenium.
• SQL/PL-SQL expertise; Oracle databases and schemas.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and develop test strategies and plans.
• Design and document comprehensive test cases, data, and execution procedures.
• Execute tests across cloud HR/payroll systems and integrated apps.
• Manage defects in Jira; coordinate with dev teams on fixes and closures.
• Perform backend testing using SQL/PL-SQL against Oracle databases.
• Validate HR/payroll workflows (hiring, changes, leaves, terminations, etc.).
• Support integration and file-based testing, data exchanges, and file processing.
• Contribute to test automation using Selenium and related tools.
• Improve QA processes with reusable templates, checklists, and standard work.
• Coordinate testing across multiple projects and workstreams; report progress and blockers.
• Deliver testing artifacts on time and ensure data security and privacy.
