Job summary

Data Society Group is seeking a senior QA Lead to own end-to-end test strategy across SIT/UAT and production readiness. You will lead offshore QA, coordinate with business users, and govern the go/no-go process for client engagements. Remote work with biweekly travel to Falls Church, VA for client needs.

This 9-month contract role requires strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and meticulous QA governance to ensure platform quality and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years QA experience with 3+ years in QA lead or test management.
• End-to-end test strategy ownership for enterprise web apps.
• Coordinate UAT with non-technical stakeholders and present go/no-go to leadership.
• Proficient with Jira or equivalent test management tools.
• Validate data outputs against source records.
• Manage offshore QA teams and asynchronous testing.
• Familiar with Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI-generated test suites and governance of AI-assisted coverage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end test strategy and governance across SIT, UAT, regression, integration, data reconciliation, and performance testing.
• Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with business users and obtain sign-off.
• Lead offshore QA Engineer team, assign coverage, review defects, and track timelines.
• Partner with DevOps/Platform Engineer and Data Engineering Lead for test readiness and data availability.
• Own test evidence and acceptance for data freshness and reconciliation against SLAs.
• Manage go/no-go readiness checklist and maintain audit-ready test documentation.
