Job summary

Bodwé Group Companies is seeking experienced QA Inspectors to ensure an effective Quality Control program for construction and facility engineering operations at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, Maryland. The role supports the U.S.

Secret Service with expectations of federal contracting compliance. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of project management in federal construction, strong scheduling/contract administration knowledge, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in federal construction projects.
• Experience managing or supporting construction projects through planning, execution, and closeout phases.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and project teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required Government security clearance(s).
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or Passport for air travel.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day project management support for assigned construction and facility engineering projects.
• Support the COR and/or senior project leadership in the execution of contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders, contractors, subcontractors, and facility personnel.
• Review construction schedules, design documents, drawings, and submittals for contract conformance.
• Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Identify construction issues and field conditions; support development of practical solutions.
• Assist with preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs), cost estimates, and contract modifications.
• Support acquisition activities including responding to contractor questions and participating in site visits.
• Attend and support contractor/Government meetings and project coordination sessions.
• Draft technical input for change orders and contract adjustments.
• Ensure contractor deliverables meet contractual and technical requirements.
• Support reporting, documentation, and project status updates for Government stakeholders.
• Assist with project closeout and turnover activities.
