VTG Defense is seeking a Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications built with React, TypeScript, and Node.js. You will develop testing strategies, create automated tests, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with modern frontend and backend testing tools (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Mocha, Chai, Postman, Newman) and a solid understanding of testing methodologies.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required with at least 5 years of software testing experience.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on testing of web applications built with React and TypeScript, and Node.js APIs.

Mansioni

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Test React and TypeScript applications to validate functionality and user interactions.
• Test Node.js server applications, including APIs and integrations.
• Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
• Build and maintain automated tests across frontend, backend, API, and end-to-end layers.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Use Git to manage test code and collaborate with development teams.
• Monitor testing progress, coverage, defects, and readiness across multiple concurrent projects.
• Communicate testing results, risks, and project status to technical teams.
