Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Strong background in manual testing across functional, integration, regression, system and performance testing.
• Solid experience testing applications on the .NET Framework.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries with Microsoft SQL Server for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Strong ability to author clear, reusable test plans and test cases from functional specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication for defect reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Experience with defect lifecycle management and issue-tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various testing types.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint quality goals.
• Perform manual testing across web and desktop apps built on the .NET Framework.
• Collaborate with developers to define acceptance criteria and identify edge cases early.
• Write and maintain SQL queries to validate data and backend logic.
• Lead regression test cycles and manage test suites in iterative development.
• Execute performance and load testing and report findings with recommendations.
• Track, document, and follow up on defects to ensure timely closure and re-test.
• Mentor junior QA team members on best practices and SDLC processes.
• Contribute to continuous QA process improvements.
