Job summary

Bikeleasing Group is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to drive comprehensive testing in agile teams. You will implement best practices for test design, automation, documentation, and management, using Kotlin and Serenity BDD to automate web and REST tests. Engage in architecture discussions and code reviews while communicating with stakeholders in English and German (B2).

The role offers flexible hours, remote work, and a modern tech stack with Kotlin/TypeScript and AWS infrastructure.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
Proficient in object-oriented approaches to test automation; Kotlin or Java with willingness to learn Kotlin.
Hands-on frontend and backend testing (web and REST) with Serenity BDD or Selenium-based frameworks; Rest Assured familiarity.
Independent manual testing including test management; basic CI/CD and IaC knowledge.
Strong English; German at B2 level for stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

Oversee all testing aspects in an agile feature team.
Implement best practices for test case creation, automation, documentation, and management.
Automate test cases using Kotlin (Serenity BDD) in most cases.
Contribute to architectural decisions on test automation setup.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
