Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a results-driven Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to support Policyholder Portal applications. The role requires manual, automation, mobile, API, and database testing expertise, with a focus on early risk identification, cross-team collaboration, and improved test coverage and delivery quality.

The engineer will learn new technologies, validate complex workflows and integrations, mentor peers, and contribute to continuous quality improvement across the SDLC and STLC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of quality assurance and software testing experience.
• Experience validating REST and SOAP services with Postman or Bruno.
• Experience writing SQL queries to validate data accuracy and transformations.
• Experience with regression testing, defect management, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting, problem solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, leadership, and customer focus.
• Preferred: Insurance application testing, including policy lifecycle and billing processes.
• Preferred: Testing iOS and Android functionality and cross-device/browser compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Participate throughout the SDLC and STLC, reviewing requirements for clarity and testability.
• Create risk-based test strategies, plans, and reusable test assets.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across web, desktop, and mobile apps.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and close defects; support root-cause analysis.
• Partner with developers, analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to validate complex workflows.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using mabl; build reusable components.
