Job summary

J.Jill, a Boston-based women-led lifestyle brand, is seeking a QA Tester to validate Oracle Retail POS applications and related retail systems. You will lead test planning, create cases, execute tests, and coordinate with analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure store operations run smoothly.

This hybrid role requires onsite testing for store hardware four days a week, with opportunities to contribute to automation and PCI/SOX compliant processes, while supporting UAT and production

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience testing Oracle Retail POS or comparable platforms.
• Knowledge of Oracle Retail Xstore POS and Oracle CE is preferred.
• Experience testing POS peripherals (barcode scanners, receipt printers, payment terminals, cash drawers, pin pads).
• Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, SQL, REST APIs, and Postman preferred.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT test cases.
• Validate Oracle Retail POS workflows including sales, returns, exchanges, promotions, loyalty, gifts, and payments.
• Perform end-to-end testing across POS, merchandising, ecommerce, inventory, and customer engagement systems.
• Create and maintain regression test suites and participate in release validation.
• Document defects with steps using Jira/Zephyr and collaborate with development teams through resolution.
• Coordinate testing with business users and assist with UAT and production issue triage.
