Job summary

IDT Corporation is seeking a QA Engineer with strong backend and API testing focus to validate REST, JSON, and gRPC interfaces across deployments. The role emphasizes release process design, manual testing across microservices, and effective collaboration with Product Owners.

Ideal candidates have extensive Linux CLI skills, SIP tracing experience, and familiarity with load testing tools; English proficiency (B2+) is required for written and spoken work.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in QA Engineering focusing on backend and API/microservices testing (REST, JSON, gRPC).
• 2+ years in VoIP/SIP protocol testing including call flow verification and media validation.
• Strong command of Linux CLI and SIP tracing tools like Hepic, CP Tools, tcpdump.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Owners to build requirement lists, refine acceptance criteria, and conduct early-stage requirements testing.
• Design, document, and standardize end-to-end release processes, quality gates, and deployment guidelines.
• Plan and execute manual test cycles across microservices and REST/gRPC APIs, validating complex integration scenarios.
• Orchestrate deployment tasks, build triggers, and post-deployment verifications in Jenkins across testing and staging environments.
• Write, organize, and maintain detailed manual test cases and execution runs in Allure TestOps.
• Test real-call scenarios, media flows, and SIP protocol behavior under active network conditions.
• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies, manage defect lifecycles in Jira, and provide final quality sign-off for release candidates.
