Job summary

fav is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff - QA to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of our live platform in Santa Monica. You will own end-to-end testing across mobile and web, collaborate with engineering, product, and design, and contribute to rapid iterations in a startup-like environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, robust test documentation, and close partner collaboration to deliver high-quality experiences for creators and users in real time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA or software testing.
• Experience supporting live service products with rapid release cycles.
• Ability to move quickly, prioritize, and test under tight timelines.
• Strong experience partnering with engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for issue articulation and collaboration.
• Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
• Understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute end-to-end testing strategies across mobile and web platforms.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to embed quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Test rapidly evolving features in a live service environment with frequent deployments.
• Prioritize testing efforts based on risk, impact, and product timelines in a fast-moving environment.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation for new and existing features.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks where applicable.
• Perform regression, functional, and exploratory testing to ensure product stability and performance.
• Advocate for the user experience by ensuring a high-quality, intuitive product.
