BusRight Inc. is modernizing school transportation with a strong emphasis on quality. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will help shape how we test, automate, and deploy across the Web, Android, and backend services, ensuring safety, performance, and reliability for students, families, and districts.

You’ll work with product and engineering teams, define risk-based test strategies, and lead efforts to improve automation, observability, and QA processes as the platform scales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Quality Assurance or software testing.
• Experience testing complex web and mobile apps with multiple interconnected services.
• Advanced exploratory testing and risk-analysis skills.
• Experience investigating production issues using logs, APIs, databases, monitoring tools, and other signals.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Own quality for complex features across Web, Android, and Flutter applications.
• Define test strategies based on technical complexity, customer impact, risk, and system architecture.
• Perform exploratory, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across interconnected systems.
• Identify edge cases, failure modes, and risks not obvious from requirements.
• Lead investigation of difficult bugs and production issues across frontend, mobile, backend, infrastructure, and third-party integrations.
• Design, build, and maintain E2E and integration automation using Playwright, Maestro, Appium.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve testability and CI/CD quality checks.
