Job summary

Dark Matter Technologies seeks a Senior QA Engineer/Analyst to drive quality across multiple products in an Agile environment. You will lead test strategy, plan execution, and automation initiatives while mentoring junior QA engineers.

You’ll collaborate with software engineers, product, BA, and DevOps to ensure comprehensive validation of features, integrations, and defects. Onsite collaboration and process improvements are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software quality assurance, testing, or quality engineering experience.
• Experience with AI-first mindset in testing and modern QA approaches.
• Strong understanding of Agile SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience with manual and automated testing strategies and execution.
• Proficient in defect analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience validating APIs, databases, integrations, and enterprise apps.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to guide teams and mentor junior QA engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing efforts for complex software projects, releases, and strategies.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases and plans.
• Create and maintain test data, scripts, and documentation.
• Analyze results and communicate quality status to stakeholders.
• Ensure validation of new features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution and root cause analysis.
• Expand automation coverage and integrate testing into CI/CD.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout project lifecycles.
