Job summary

Cross River is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our Online Banking team. You will develop test cases, automate, and perform testing on the React-based UI, NextJS middleware, C#-based APIs, and integrations that make up Cross River's evolving Online Banking platform.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated engineer with experience testing reliable, performant, scalable, and instrumented services.

Qualifications

• 6 years of QA and test automation experience.
• 3 years of experience with React-based UIs and related testing frameworks.
• 3 years of experience testing RESTful APIs and 3 years of experience in C#.
• Some proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Specflow/Reqnroll behavioral testing frameworks strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Experience in banking, finance, crypto or fintech is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple internal and external teams to automate and perform testing on a variety of services and applications.
• Build test automation across multiple critical business domains.
• Plan, triage, and prioritize work across multiple work streams.
• Share knowledge with and mentor teammates.
• Actively contribute to a collaborative Quality focused culture within the team.
