Job summary

Cross River is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our Online Banking team. You will develop test cases, automate, and test the React-based UI, NextJS middleware, C# APIs, and integrations that make up Cross River’s evolving Online Banking platform.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated engineer with experience testing reliable, performant, scalable, and instrumented services. Salary range provided is $120,000.00 - $160,000.00, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality assurance and test automation.
• 3+ years with React-based UIs and testing frameworks.
• 3+ years testing RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years C# experience.
• Some JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency.
• Specflow/Reqnroll preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in banking, finance, crypto or fintech is helpful.

What We’re Looking For

You will develop test cases, automate, and perform testing on the React-based UI, NextJS middleware, C#-based APIs, and integrations that make up Cross River’s evolving Online Banking platform. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated engineer with experience testing reliable, performant, scalable, and instrumented services.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with multiple internal and external teams to automate and perform testing on a variety of different services and applications
• Build test automation across multiple critical business domains
• Plan, triage, and prioritize work across multiple work streams
• Share knowledge with and mentor teammates
• Actively contribute to a collaborative Quality focused culture within the team

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in performing quality assurance and test automation
• 3+ years of experience working with React-based UIs and related testing frameworks
• 3+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs
• 3+ years of experience in C#
• Some proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Specflow/Reqnroll behavioral testing frameworks strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience working in banking, finance, crypto or fintech is helpful, but not required

Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00
