Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled software verification professional to support the Theater Mission Planning Center program for Navy Tomahawk deployments. You will perform manual testing, validate deployment updates, and help automate installation across hardware configurations while following program standards.

The role emphasizes DevOps practices, Ansible, Keycloak, Windows and RedHat Linux environments, and collaboration in Agile ceremonies. SECRET clearance or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• 8 years with BS/BA or 6 years with MS/MA in a related field.
• Active SECRET Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• 5+ years of manual testing experience.
• Experience with DevOps implementation or testing strategies.
• Strong analytical and IT skills.
• Experience with Windows and RedHat Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Ansible and Keycloak preferred.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent writing and documentation abilities.
• Ability to learn and follow complex processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with a DevOps team on the TMPC program for Navy deployments.
• Automate installation across multiple hardware configurations and releases.
• Validate and test installation and deployment updates prior to deployment.
• Perform installations and verify deployment changes in dev/test environments.
• Test deployment media before release for TMPC systems.
• Develop and execute tests for deployment strategy and media.
• Verify updates to installation and setup procedures.
• Report test findings and document new errors per conventions.
• Understand TMPC hardware configurations and evolving deployment requirements.
• Provide or validate estimates for assigned tasks.
