Job summary

Peraton in Santa Clara, CA seeks a part-time software tester to join the DevOps team on the Theater Mission Planning Center program, part of the Navy's Tomahawk Missile program. The role focuses on automating installation and testing across hardware configurations and releases, with mostly on-site work.

You will validate installations and deployment updates in dev/test environments before media release, and collaborate in Agile ceremonies while contributing to deployment procedures and test

Qualifications

• Education and clearance requirements as listed in the posting.
• Experience with DevOps implementation or test strategies.
• Strong analytical and IT skills, including Windows and RedHat Linux.
• Ability to learn and follow complex processes and procedures.
• Clearance: active SECRET or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute tests following team conventions for multiple TMPC releases.
• Verify ISP changes for deployment updates.
• Report test findings and document errors.
• Understand TMPC hardware configurations and associated applications.
• Follow program processes and contribute to team standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like Sprint Planning and Daily Stand-ups.
