Job summary

Relay is seeking a QA engineer to own QA for a product team, running the release gate from staging and expanding automated tests. You'll embed with engineers to understand what's shipping, define coverage, and contribute to QA infrastructure, including AI-assisted testing and incident analysis.

The role emphasizes a remote-first culture and collaboration with crypto infrastructure teams. You will write tests, leverage AI tooling to accelerate coverage, and help ensure reliable releases

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA engineering experience with automated test suites.
• Experience owning QA in a CI/CD pipeline.
• Able to read and reason about unfamiliar code.
• Strong written communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Autonomy with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Run the release gate from staging: review merges, run tests, sign off before production.
• Embed with engineers on your team to anticipate issues before they ship.
• Define what 'good coverage' means for your domain and close gaps.
• Write and maintain automated tests for your team's codebase slice.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate test generation from usage profiles.
• Participate in quarterly refresh to align suites with real product behavior.
• Contribute to QA infrastructure projects for integrator-specific test suites.
• Advance QA tooling through AI integrations and improved automation.
