Job summary

F.A. Wilhelm Construction seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Raleigh, NC to lead the QA program for projects, ensure adherence to requirements, and oversee both self-performed and subcontracted work through detailed plans. You will conduct on-site inspections across civil, structural, MEP systems, and interiors, and drive corrective actions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to quality across all project phases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field, or 5+ years in general construction.
OSHA 30 certification is preferred but not required.
Procore or other Construction Quality Software experience is expected.
Primavera P6 Scheduling Software knowledge is required.
Viewpoint and Bluebeam knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

Develops, plans, manages, and enforces the QA program for assigned projects.
Ensure subcontractors understand project and manufacturer's requirements.
Manage self-perform and subcontracted work via Project Quality Plans and inspection/test plans.
Perform onsite field observations of civil, structural, enclosures, interiors, MEP systems.
Record observations, complete inspection reports, and implement corrective actions.
