Job summary

Verra Mobility Corporation seeks an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure end-to-end quality of cloud-based and legacy apps. You will design test scenarios, implement automation with Playwright, Selenium, TypeScript, and C#, and mentor others in testing best practices.

You will analyze requirements, create comprehensive test data and regression suites, and collaborate with product, tech leads, and developers to optimize test coverage and release readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing functional, exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Hands-on automation development using modern tools and frameworks.
• Ability to analyze requirements and design comprehensive test coverage.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, user stories, and designs to identify test scenarios and coverage needs.
• Create and maintain test cases, data, and regression suites for multiple apps.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, integration, regression, and production-validation testing.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech Leads, Developers, and QA for testability and risk assessment.
• Determine automation vs. manual testing approach for each capability.
• Develop and maintain automated UI, API, and end-to-end tests using Playwright, Selenium, TypeScript, and C#.
• Build scalable automation frameworks and reusable components.
• Test React, micro frontends, .NET APIs, microservices, and cloud apps; legacy .NET apps as well.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and feedback loops.
• Identify requirements gaps and automation opportunities from production defects.
• Leverage generative AI for analysis, test design, automation, and documentation while validating outputs.
