Job summary

Plenful is seeking a midlevel to senior QA Engineer to drive automated testing across our AI-driven healthcare operations platform. You will partner with Engineering, Product, and Design to deliver reliable software at startup speed, building scalable testing practices from the ground up.

You’ll establish automated testing coverage, integrate tests into the deployment pipeline, and develop quality metrics to enable faster shipping without sacrificing reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• Experience building automated testing frameworks for modern SaaS applications.
• Experience testing REST APIs and microservice-based architectures.
• Experience with YAML-based testing.
• Proficient with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.

Responsibilities

• Own quality strategy across multiple products and engineering teams.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web apps, APIs, backend services, and integrations.
• Develop scalable testing frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with engineers to identify quality risks early in development.
• Define test plans, acceptance criteria, and release readiness for new initiatives.
• Perform exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Drive automation-first testing practices and minimize manual regression testing.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to ensure testability of requirements.
• Monitor production quality metrics and investigate customer-reported issues.
• Champion testing excellence through code reviews of test automation and quality metrics.
• Mentor engineers on testing practices and foster a culture of shared responsibility for quality.
