Job summary

Hudl is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our North American Sports product team. Youre responsible for end-to-end quality, designing and implementing testing strategies to ensure reliable software used by coaches and analysts.

In this role youll own quality discussions, drive automation with Playwright and scripting in Python or TypeScript, and mentor others while collaborating with Engineering, Product and Design to ship high-quality features at scale.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software testing experience across API, backend, data-heavy systems and frontend validation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and scripting languages.
• Proven leadership in owning squad quality and reducing production risk.
• Strong analytical skills and user-focused testing approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives and drive risk-based testing strategies.
• Test across UI, APIs, backend services and data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automated checks with Playwright.
• Mentor teammates and improve quality processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Design and participate in hiring.
