Job summary

Bart & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to support a federal government contract, delivering mission-critical software with rigorous quality standards.

The role requires experience designing and executing test plans, performing functional, integration, and regression testing, and developing automated scripts using Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, and TestNG within an Agile environment. Eligible for a Public Trust BI clearance as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Management or Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years writing and maintaining test scripts and plans.
• 4+ years automation script design using automated testing tools.
• Experience with API testing (SOAP UI, Postman) and API automation.
• Strong SQL experience and knowledge of SDLC/Agile.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans and cases.
• Engage in system, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Document requirements with team lead and estimate effort.
• Develop automated tests using Rest Assured, Selenium, Postman, TestNG, and BDD.
