Job summary

Ping Identity seeks a Senior QA Engineer in Bangalore to lead API and UI automation efforts using Selenium and Java. You will design end-to-end test plans, build scalable automation frameworks, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines in a fast-paced Agile setting.

Require 5–9 years in QA automation, proficiency in Go or Python, and strong experience with REST Assured, Postman, and Selenium WebDriver. Excellent collaboration and leadership skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 5–9 years of QA automation experience.
• Proficiency in Go or Python programming.
• Experience with API testing and automation using REST Assured, Postman, or similar.
• Solid experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit or Serenity.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Experience integrating automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
• Strong Agile/Scrum understanding and leadership abilities.
• Cloud-based testing experience (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Customer-facing skills to represent Ping Identity effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive end-to-end test plans and oversee their execution.
• Perform test automation across API, backend, and UI components using Selenium and Java.
• Write high-quality code, review changes, and enforce coding standards.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment; participate in sprint activities and QA documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product managers to define test strategies.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Mentor junior team members and promote QA best practices.
