Job summary

EchoStar is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our Video Services team. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts within CI/CD pipelines, focusing on performance and system-level testing for B2B streaming platforms and enterprise backends.

The role emphasizes Linux troubleshooting, IP networking analysis, and the application of AI tools to accelerate test authoring and defect analysis, ensuring high availability and data integrity across microservices.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum Experience: 4-8 years of experience in Software QA Engineering focusing on automation, performance, and system-level testing.
• Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 5 years of experience with automated test scripting and Linux troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts within CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform deep Linux troubleshooting and inspect system logs to debug IP network traffic.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test scenario authoring and synthetic load generation.
• Validate end-to-end data integrity across backend microservices and Salesforce integrations.
