Job summary

Zallpy Digital is seeking a remote Test Analyst to join our agile teams and contribute to high-quality software across web and enterprise applications. You will design and execute comprehensive manual tests, validate APIs, and ensure data integrity through SQL testing.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, and Developers in Scrum ceremonies, document results, and help drive continuous improvements in testing strategies and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual testing across multiple testing types.
• Hands-on qTest experience for test management, traceability, and dashboards.
• Strong SQL knowledge for data validation and ETL testing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, execute, and document manual tests across Functional, Regression, Integration, System, API, and End-to-End testing.
• Manage test cases, requirements traceability, test execution, defect tracking, reporting, dashboards, and test metrics using qTest.
• Test web and enterprise applications, including API validation using Postman or similar tools.
• Perform database and ETL testing, including SQL validation, data reconciliation, data transformation verification, and business rule validation.
• Analyze requirements, identify risks and gaps, troubleshoot issues, and communicate findings effectively.
• Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, execution reports, and defect documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint ceremonies.

What you will do:

What we are looking for:

• Fluent English
• Strong experience with Manual Testing, including test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and reporting;
• Advanced hands-on experience with qTest for test case management, requirements traceability, test execution, defect tracking, reporting, dashboards, and test metrics;
• Experience testing web and enterprise applications;
• Strong API validation skills using Postman or similar tools;
• Solid understanding of SQL, database validation, data reconciliation, ETL testing, data transformations, and business rules;
• Good understanding of financial business processes and experience testing finance-related applications, including trading, accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and financial data validation;
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams, including participation in sprint ceremonies and collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers;
• Ability to create and maintain quality documentation, including test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, execution reports, and defect documentation;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze requirements, identify risks and gaps, troubleshoot issues, and communicate findings effectively.
