Job summary

Zallpy is seeking a skilled QA professional for a 100% remote role. You will plan, design, and execute manual tests across multiple testing types, manage test artifacts in qTest, and validate APIs using Postman.

You’ll analyze requirements, identify risks, and collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software. Strong English communication, solid SQL and ETL validation skills, and experience with finance-related applications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and strong manual testing background.
• Experience with test planning, design, execution, and defect management.
• Advanced hands-on with qTest for test management and dashboards.
• Validating web/enterprise apps and API testing with Postman or equivalents.
• Solid SQL and ETL validation skills; financial data proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, execute, and document manual tests across Functional, Regression, Integration, System, API, and End-to-End testing.
• Manage test cases, requirements traceability, test execution, defect tracking, reporting, dashboards, and test metrics using qTest.
• Test web and enterprise applications, including API validation using Postman or similar tools.
• Perform database and ETL testing, including SQL validation, data reconciliation, data transformation verification, and business rule validation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, and Developers within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint ceremonies.

What you will do:

What we are looking for:

• Fluent English
• Strong experience with Manual Testing, including test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and reporting;
• Advanced hands‑on experience with qTest for test case management, requirements traceability, test execution, defect tracking, reporting, dashboards, and test metrics;
• Experience testing web and enterprise applications;
• Strong API validation skills using Postman or similar tools;
• Solid understanding of SQL, database validation, data reconciliation, ETL testing, data transformations, and business rules;
• Good understanding of financial business processes and experience testing finance‑related applications, including trading, accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and financial data validation;
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams, including participation in sprint ceremonies and collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers;
• Ability to create and maintain quality documentation, including test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, execution reports, and defect documentation;
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze requirements, identify risks and gaps, troubleshoot issues, and communicate findings effectively.
