Job summary

Audubon Companies in Metairie, LA is seeking a Quality Assurance E&I Inspector to join our team. The Inspector serves as the owner's representative to oversee General Contractor and sub trades, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, drawings, and contract requirements.

The role reports to a Construction Manager or Project Manager and may support additional craft inspection as needed. This position requires a strong background in construction quality assurance and hands-on inspection

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• 10+ years of experience in construction required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality inspections of General Contractor and sub trades on behalf of the Owner.
• Sign off ITPs and check sheets with respect to completion of work.
• Review as-built documentation and ensure it is completed.
• Oversite of all NDE.
• Visual inspections of welding and general fabrication and track repairs.
• Witness testing Hydro testing flushing etc.
• Reviewing and assisting General Contractor with Construction Hand over documentation and being a sign off authority for acceptance
• Punch listing close out verifications
