ECM Consultants, an Aventia Company, seeks a full-time Certified Construction Inspector in Lafayette, LA to perform daily inspections ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. You will document observations, manage reports, and support QA efforts for public works projects.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience or equivalent, OSHA training, and LADOTD certifications. Field duties include safety gear usage, on-site communication, and rigorous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; OSHA safety training.
• 7–10 years of construction and/or inspection experience or related education with inspection exposure.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle; LADOTD certifications as listed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Collect, organize, and maintain inspection documentation and reports.
• Observe safety procedures and traffic-control requirements on site.
• Read civil drawings and verify compliance; communicate findings to stakeholders.
