Job summary

VySystems is seeking a senior QA engineer to lead manual and API testing for new development. You will create and maintain E2E test scripts and drive continuous testing with Jenkins and SauceLabs, owning in-sprint API and web automation testing and maintaining the regression suite.

You will collaborate with software and product teams in an Agile environment, design test plans and pytest tests, and ensure timely delivery while reporting metrics and defects through Jira.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience automating tests for Web (Cypress, Playwright with Typescript) and APIs.
Experience with Postman and API automation testing using Pytest.
Ability to engage AI to write code and deliver faster.
Strong testing methodologies: Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, White box, and Black box.
Experience with Jira, Xray and Confluence; Agile environment."
Experience with GitHub and SourceTree for version control.
Bug reporting in Jira and defect lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

Perform manual and API testing for new development.
Create and maintain E2E test automation scripts and continuous testing using Jenkins and SauceLabs.
In-sprint API and Web automation testing of scheduled releases; maintain regression suite.
Create test plans, automation strategies, cycles, and test cases; assess reports and identify bugs.
Write API automated tests and DB validations using Python and pytest.
Manage Jira board from open to close and ensure on-time delivery.
