Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a fast-paced Agile team in Tampa, FL. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, automate UI with Selenium or Playwright, and validate REST APIs alongside database checks.

The role requires 10+ years in QA/QC and hands-on automation in an Agile SDLC. You will collaborate across distributed teams and drive quality initiatives throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Quality Engineering and Test Automation experience.
• Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Strong understanding of full Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Build UI automation solutions using Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Develop behavior-driven test automation using Cucumber or similar BDD frameworks.
• Create and execute automated and manual test cases for web applications, APIs, databases, and batch processes.
• Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test scenarios and test plans.
• Validate REST APIs through functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform database validation and data reconciliation activities using Oracle SQL.
• Execute testing for batch jobs and end-to-end workflow processes.
• Manage defects, test results, and release readiness activities.
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Utilize Jira, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and related SDLC tools to support testing and release activities.
• Collaborate with distributed teams across multiple locations and provide guidance on testing best practices.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, framework stability, and quality engineering processes.
