Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (TypeScript) to lead end-to-end quality across Web, Mobile, and Desktop. You will design automation frameworks from the ground up, implement Playwright and Appium pipelines, and drive Shift-Left practices with a focus on early defect detection.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA automation with building frameworks.
• Proficient in TypeScript for production automation.
• Experience designing Playwright-based framework architectures.
• Mobile testing with Appium across iOS and Android.
• Cross-platform testing across Web, iOS, Android, Windows and Mac.
• Strong SQL for backend data validation.
• API testing with RestAssured or Postman.
• CI/CD integration with Jenkins or similar pipelines.
• Performance testing with JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Shift-Left mindset to identify gaps early.
• Leadership to mentor QA engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build automation frameworks from scratch in TypeScript using Playwright (Web) and Appium (Mobile).
• Own the QA strategy—design test plans and drive Shift-Left practices.
• Write and maintain automation scripts in TypeScript as the primary language.
• Test across platforms: iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and Web.
• Debug across layers using RestAssured, Charles Proxy, ADB, Xcode/IDE diagnostics.
• Drive performance testing with JMeter for high-traffic scenarios.
• Validate data integrity using SQL across Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Mentor and elevate team members on test design and patterns.
• Manage test operations with TestRail, Jira, or equivalents.
• Collaborate with developers, product, and design to ensure coverage.
