Job summary

Embedded Shishya is seeking a QA Automation Engineer IV to lead testing efforts for ETL and automation initiatives. The role emphasizes building robust automated frameworks, executing load and security tests, and collaborating across teams to ensure quality across releases.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium in Java, strong scripting abilities, and a background in CI/CD and Agile environments. This is a remote position serving the USA with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or related work experience.
• Experience with Selenium with Java or similar.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Load/Integration testing, Security testing, Server-side testing.
• Relational Database Development (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle).
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with agile development.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Participate and contribute to requirements analysis, design, QA test plan development, defect review, QA results analysis, sprint review, project planning sessions.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and test artifacts like test data, data validation and automated scripts.
• Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report test results.
• Perform risk assessments and validate business requirements.
• Investigate bugs and write clear, concise defect reports; monitor, triage and drive resolution of issues.
