Job summary

EPITEC is seeking an Automation Engineer specialized in QA Test Automation to design, build, and maintain automated test suites for enterprise applications across desktop and web platforms. The role blends hands-on scripting with strong QA judgment, delivering production-ready automation that reduces regression effort and accelerates release confidence.

The ideal candidate has 4-6+ years in test automation, strong Python/C#, and experience with Playwright or Selenium, SQL Server, and REST API

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of professional experience in software test automation or QA engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and C# for test automation with clean, maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium for web UI automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated regression and functional test suites for desktop and web applications.
• Update and extend automation scripts each release cycle to reflect new features and changes.
• Build data-driven tests covering multiple data-creation paths and academic years.
• Create and manage test data using SQL Server queries and XML or other structured data files.
• Run tests across browsers/devices and analyze failures to separate defects from environment issues.
• Collaborate with QA, developers, and business partners to ensure test coverage and quality delivery.
• Maintain automation standards, libraries, and documentation to improve team efficiency.
