Eliassen Group is seeking a Software Engineer in Test II for a remote, full-time position within the healthcare-focused Consumer Technology space. The role requires strong test automation skills, web development experience, and the ability to work with databases, web services, and APIs.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field and at least 4 years of experience in software test automation, including SQL and object-oriented development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, computer science, or technical field.
• Experience with software test automation and web development.

Responsabilités

• Design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software applications and test tools.
• Expand knowledge of operations related to assigned projects.
• Perform routine automation assignments with minimal supervision.
• Develop understanding of assigned applications, internal customer areas, standards, techniques, and business knowledge.
• Demonstrate understanding of departmental procedures, programming standards, and training materials.
• Design and develop white-box testing of applications.
• Provide accurate time estimates of assigned tasks and projects.
• Recommend possible improvements in applications.
• Perform code reviews.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Mentor other engineers.
• Refactor legacy components as needed.
• Communicate with product owners and end users.
• Participate in training or development of others as directed.
• Maintain familiarity with department methodology.
