Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT/technical field experience.
• Minimum 4 years of software test automation experience.
• Strong coding skills beyond Software Engineer I expectations.
• Proficiency with SQL databases (MySQL/MS SQL) and web services.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and API testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM lifecycles and enterprise systems.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software applications and test tools.
• Expand knowledge of operations related to assigned projects.
• Perform routine automation assignments with minimal supervision.
• Develop understanding of assigned applications, internal customer areas, standards, techniques, and business knowledge.
• Demonstrate understanding of departmental procedures, programming standards, and training materials.
• Design and develop white-box testing of applications.
• Provide accurate time estimates of tasks and projects.
• Recommend improvements in applications.
• Perform code reviews.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Mentor other engineers.
• Refactor legacy components as needed.
• Communicate with product owners and end users.
• Participate in training or development of others.
• Maintain familiarity with department methodology.
• Analyze alternatives and cost/benefit comparisons.
• Monitor automated processes and perform remediation.
