Job summary

Next Gen Software Solutions is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with hands-on Playwright experience to lead QA across Power Platform integrations. The role requires expertise in automated and manual testing, test planning, and defect management within an agile environment.

The candidate will design test strategies, execute tests, and collaborate with developers to ensure quality releases in a hybrid Washington, DC setting.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on Playwright automation experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• 5+ years of functional web testing.
• 5+ years writing and executing test plans.
• Experience testing UI/UX and Power Platform components (SharePoint/Power Apps).
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Microsoft Test Manager; test automation a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Develop end-to-end automated tests with Playwright (JS/TS) for UI and API validation.
• Ensure automation is integrated into CI/CD pipelines for rapid releases.
• Execute tests, track defects, and validate fixes with developers.
