Job summary

ENFOS is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET to join our Quality Engineering team in Durham, NC. You will own testing strategy, combine manual testing with Playwright automation, and ensure reliability of our platform trusted by industrial leaders.

You will mentor juniors, work in Agile sprints, and contribute to AI-assisted testing and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Docker.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Software QA or SDET roles.
Expert-level Playwright experience.
Experience testing REST APIs and backend integrations.
Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD, and scalable automation frameworks.
Experience with enterprise business applications.
Strong Agile and CI/CD practices, with debugging and root-cause skills.
Ability to work independently with strong communication.

Responsibilities

Own the testing effort for new features from requirements through production release.
Design, execute, and maintain manual, exploratory, regression, and end-to-end automated tests.
Develop and maintain scalable automated tests using Playwright; perform API testing.
Build and maintain automated tests in GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Identify missing acceptance criteria, edge cases, and risks before development completes.
Conduct root cause analysis for production issues; produce clear bug reports.
Improve automation coverage, reliability, and QA processes.
