Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for a hybrid contract assignment in Farmington Hills, MI. The role emphasizes manual and automated testing across web apps, APIs, data, and AI-enabled capabilities.

You will design test plans, perform diverse testing, and build automated tests with Python, Java, or JavaScript while integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. Local candidates only for a 4-month engagement with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Develop test plans, scenarios, test data and cases.
• Focus on functional, integration, regression, end-to-end and API testing.
• Validate frontend, backend, databases and AWS workflows.
• Create automated tests with Python, Java or JavaScript.

Responsabilités

• Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, test data and cases.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end and API testing.
• Design and maintain automated testing using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Validate frontend apps, backend APIs, databases, and AWS workflows.
• Perform REST API testing using Postman and automation frameworks.
• Validate DB transactions and data transformations with SQL.
• Test document ingestion, processing, and downstream workflows.
• Validate AI-enabled capabilities for output accuracy and error handling.
• Conduct positive, negative, boundary, and failure-scenario testing.
• Validate authentication, authorization and RBAC controls.
• Develop automated tests using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
