Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to deliver automated solutions for software processes. You will plan, organize and track testing activities to ensure successful project deployments and provide training where needed.

The role requires 5+ years of QA experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with automated testing, cloud DevOps tools, and testing across databases, applications, and infrastructure. Louisiana residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Business Management or four years' related work experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of quality assurance experience with testing web, client-server, infrastructure or mainframe applications.
• Database technologies and SQL required; automated testing and QA methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate testing activities to ensure successful project deployment.
• Design and execute QA tests; run tests for databases, systems, networks, applications, hardware and software.
• Report defects and coordinate across functional teams to resolve issues; develop test data and test plans.
• Lead or participate in defect triage meetings; track and report test status to stakeholders.
