Job summary

Indihire Consultants is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead the evolution of our testing ecosystem. You will architect AI-driven frameworks using WebdriverIO with TypeScript/JavaScript and drive best practices across web, API, and mobile testing.

You will design scalable automation, build CI/CD integrations, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure release readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years with WebdriverIO in QA automation.
• Proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript (Node.js).
• Experience with AI plugins or self-healing testing approaches.
• Strong experience automating REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation in build processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain end-to-end automation framework using WebdriverIO and TypeScript.
• Implement AI-driven testing capabilities, including self-healing locators.
• Write AI prompts to generate test cases and analyze logs.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to ensure quality.
• Analyze test results and drive issue resolutions.
• Define and evangelize test automation strategy across the department.
• Build CI/CD integrations for automated testing pipelines.
• Maintain a comprehensive regression suite triggered on code merges.
• Support performance/load testing during peak periods.
• Develop live health checks and smoke tests for production deployments.
