Job summary

Togetherwork is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to lead automation-first QA across a multi-product SaaS portfolio in Austin, TX. You will design and maintain automated tests for web apps, BI reports, and data pipelines, embedding with product and data teams.

AI will be used daily to accelerate test creation and identify coverage gaps. You will collaborate with Senior Quality Engineers, ensure coverage keeps pace with a modernizing platform, and own the quality that runs inside CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA automation with ownership of test suite design and maintenance in production
• Strong proficiency in E2E web application testing across polyglot stacks
• Experience validating BI reports and dashboards (Sigma/PowerBI)
• Experience writing data validation tests for SQL-based pipelines or dbt transformations
• Demonstrated use of AI coding tools to accelerate test coverage
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain end-to-end automated test suites for web apps across a polyglot stack (React, PHP, Rails, .NET)
• Build automated validation coverage for BI reports and dashboards (Sigma/PowerBI)
• Validate data pipelines and dbt transformation layers for accuracy and completeness
• Use AI tools daily to generate test scaffolding and expand coverage
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Surface test results and quality trends for engineering leads and product teams
