Togetherwork is a $250M recurring revenue SaaS business with more than 33 software applications serving over 12 vertical markets. We help communities, organizations, and businesses thrive by delivering purpose-built software that supports their missions and operations.
Headquartered on South Congress in Austin, TX, Togetherwork is scaling rapidly. We are customer-focused, execution-driven, and committed to operational excellence. Our teams value accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Togetherwork is scaling quality across a complex, multi-product SaaS portfolio, and we need a Senior QA Automation Engineer who leads with automation first. You build, maintain, and continuously improve automated test coverage across web applications, BI reports, analytics dashboards, and data pipelines.
You will work alongside our Senior Quality Engineers, embedding directly with product and data teams to ensure coverage keeps pace with a rapidly modernizing platform. AI is a core part of how you work; you use it daily to accelerate test creation, identify coverage gaps, and generate smarter edge cases.
Design and maintain end-to-end automated test suites for web applications across a polyglot stack including React, PHP, Rails, and .NET. You know how to build automation that survives UI changes and scales across multiple products without becoming a maintenance burden.
Build automated validation coverage for BI reports and analytics dashboards in Sigma, PowerBI, or similar reporting tools. You verify data accuracy, visual rendering, filter behavior, and cross-report consistency.
Validate data pipelines and dbt transformation layers to ensure data flowing into reports and dashboards is accurate, complete, and trustworthy. You understand the difference between a pipeline bug and a modeling bug, and you know how to write tests that catch both.
Use AI coding tools daily to generate test scaffolding, expand coverage, and surface edge cases faster. You evaluate AI output critically and know what needs refinement. You are expected to demonstrate this fluency.
Partner with DevOps and engineering to ensure automated test suites are integrated into CI/CD pipelines effectively. You don't own the pipelines, but you own the quality of what runs inside them.
Surface test results, coverage gaps, and quality trends in a way that is actionable for engineering leads and product teams. You make quality visible, not just measurable.
You think in automation first. When a bug is found manually, your instinct is to write a test that would have caught it. You build coverage that is reliable, maintainable, and actually runs in CI.
You are comfortable moving across contexts; from a React UI one day to a dbt model the next. You understand enough about each domain to ask the right questions and build tests that matter.
You use AI tools every day, and you are genuinely good at it. You can show your workflow, explain your approach, and demonstrate that what you ship is better and faster because of it.
